About the Role
CROFT & FROST is looking for an experienced tax reviewer to join our team full time. This position is fully remote and can be performed anywhere in the United States.
Duties
• Review Individual and Business tax returns
• Research tax laws
• Consult clients on personal and business decisions
• Answer clients’ questions about Tax Planning and income projections
• Obtain client information for the preparation of Federal, State, and Local returns
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Work with a team to provide timely and quality work
• Continue to develop technical skills in accounting, taxation, and consulting
• Collaborate with tax seniors and tax staff on tax preparation
• Work with a team and assist with training
Job Qualifications
• Extensive knowledge of tax law
• Highly proficient with accounting software
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Required)
• Licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent (Strongly Preferred)
• 6-10 years of tax experience (Required)
